Welcome. Below is a snapshot of various groups that can be found at Winchester Community Church...

PRAISE and WORSHIP: Our 10:30 A.M. Service on Sundays focuses on worshipping God through song and the teaching of His Word. There is a time of Biblical Instruction for children during the message time. Families are encouraged to worship together. Nurseries are provided for infants.

SMALL GROUP BIBLE STUDIES for adults are available on Sundays at 9:15 A.M. and 6:30 P.M., on Tuesdays at 7:00 P.M., and at off church campus sites several times throughout the month.

AWANA Clubs for Children are held on Thursday evenings at 6:30 P.M. Our association with this national children's work is now in its 20th year. There are clubs for elementary children in grades Kindergarten through grade 6.

MOPS (for mothers of pre-schoolers) meets on the first and third Thursdays at 9:30 A.M. The Moppette Program for preschoolers during the moms' meeting provides activities and Bible stories for the little ones.

UPPER CLASSMEN, a monthly luncheon for those over 50, is held on the third Wednesday of each month at 11:30 A.M. This ministry of our church attracts over 100 seniors who enjoy the meals, fellowship, and inspiring programs. The cost is $4.00 and reservations are necessary. They may be made by calling the church office at 824-2900.

THE ALTERNATIVE, held on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 P.M., is for teenagers. Under the direction of our youth leader, Jonathan Dalbo, and assisted by Jamie Dalbo and others, many teens meet for praise and worship and Bible Study. Pizza and wings and gym activities are included in the activities. This group meets during the school year and takes breaks in correlation with the West Seneca Central School District's calendar.

PRISCILLA CLUB Each second and fourth Wednesday evening (6 p.m.-8 p.m.) from September through early June finds the Priscilla Group meeting in the Hospitality Room at Winchester Community Church. Approximately ten ladies have faithfully gathered for several years now to fellowship and study. Some learning experiences we've shared consist of: a bible study: Experiencing God, a radio evangelical audio series, a reading/discussion of Within Heaven's Gates, a biblical comparison of fifty women of the Bible. Positive, encouraging fellowship also occurs at every meeting. A light work-out/exercise session will open our meetings this fall. Each season concludes with the group sharing a day trip to welcome summer vacation and family activity until September comes again.

SPORTS: Winchester Church participates in a Christian Bowling League on Monday evenings throughout the season. In the summer months our church sponsors a softball team. See Mark if you are interested in playing.

OTHER OPPORTUNITIES SPONSORED BY WINCHESTER CHURCH: Vacation Bible School for kids in the summertime; monthly puppet shows for kids; monthly adult social excursions on Saturdays; once a month (the first Friday) "dinner-out" for couples; Outreach concert events;...serving opportunities catered to your specific strengths and comforts.
